I love how the kitchen always seems to be the place where people gather. No matter the size or location in the house, the kitchen is a magnet for togetherness, chatter and laughter. Because of this, it makes perfect sense to design a kitchen that feels comfy and inviting. My dream kitchen would be just this. A warm place that feels cozy and comfortable filled with the tools to create beautiful, delicious food for all who pass through. My kitchen would be FULL of the stuff that makes it unique: vintage serve-ware, photos from our adventures, fragrant flowers and decorative touches. It was too difficult for me to pare down my fantasies into just one vignette, so here are two – a botanical blue/green décor and warm, classic red with black & white. Two different looks, the same basic feel: happy, welcoming and full of delight.
